Stronghold Games Announces English Release of Age of Reason and La Granja

Stronghold Games has joined forces with Spielworxx to bring two popular German games to the worldwide market. Age of Reason and La Granja will be released in 2015 for the first time in English.

Age of Reason is an area control game for 3-7 players. The storyline takes place in Europe during the latter half of the 18th century. Each player becomes the reagent of a country and strives to build their power while establishing colonies in Africa, India and the Western Hemisphere. The enlish version of the game will be released as Stronghold Games’ first game in its new “Great Designer Series”.

In La Granja, players control farms in rural Spain. The game allows for 1-4 players and by placing workers they try to expand their farms and deliver goods to the village of Esporles. Whoever ends up with the most victory points earns ownership of the famed La Granja estate.

You should be able to start pre-ordering in April. For anyone attending the Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio in June 3-7, 2015, Stronghold Games may have advanced copies available to demo or purchase.
