Team Gameosity Runs For the Wild Again

Hey everybody! We here at Gameosity love all the little animals around the world, so every year we participate in the WCS Run for the Wild at the Bronx Zoo. This will be our 5th year running for charity, so we hope you can help make this our best run yet!

We’re proud to be a part of WCS Run for the Wild at the Bronx Zoo on April 28. The money we raise by participating in this 5K and family fun run will help fund WCS’s critical work to save wildlife around the globe.

Look at that tiny blep!

This year’s WCS Run for the Wild is inspired by big cats, including lions, tigers, snow leopards, cheetahs, and jaguars. These animals are iconic – beautiful, powerful, and mysterious. They’re also endangered.

That lion looks hungry.

Lion populations in Uganda have declined by 30% in ten years. Tigers are killed in huge numbers for their skins and bones, or in retaliation for conflict with humans.

The animals the big cats prey on are killed by skilled hunters to feed insatiable luxury markets for ‘exotic’ bushmeat, and their remaining forest habitats are relentlessly converted to human uses.

Animals around the word are going extinct 10,000 times faster than ever before. WCS is working to give wildlife a fighting chance. And we’re running to help them.

WCS Run for the Wild supports efforts to establish and manage parks and reserves, protect animals from poaching with active monitoring and patrolling, and inspire communities to protect their local wildlife.

With your support, we hope to raise our target of $500. Even $10 would make a big difference.

P.S. Not only does my run support a great cause – it’s also a really fun day at the zoo! If you’d like to help big cats and other wildlife, please join me on April 28. You can register here:
