USAopoly® (The OP) has released Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist Board Game. In this one-versus-many game, you can play as either John McClane or one of Hans Gruber’s thieves who are trying to break into the Nakatomi Plaza’s vault.
“We designed this new game mechanic for Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist to allow fans to play through the same story arcs and character development as in the movie,” said Pat Marino, Lead Game Designer, USAopoly. “As the game progresses through three acts, the board reveals more of itself, bringing about new challenges and objectives for players while increasing the game’s difficulty and complexity to keep everyone engaged.”
As John McClane, one player must complete objectives to save the hostages that Gruber and his goons are holding. The thieves have two goals: mhack the vault’s lock system and stop McClane. Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist Board Game is the first officially licensed tabletop game for the franchise and is now available at Amazon and other select retailers for $39.95 MSRP. More information is available at TheOP.games. If you’re headed to GenCon you can check out the game at booth #1037.
