The Game of Life: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Edition Coming for the Holidays

Jess: I can’t remember the last time I played Hasbro’s classic, The Game of Life. It’s one of those games I didn’t really get as a kid, but now an all new edition looms on the holiday horizon. Based on the Netflix hit, The Game of Life: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Edition, places players in New York city during the 1950’s. There are many ways to find your path in life, possibly achieving fame and fortune, but for those willing to take the ultimate risk, being a stand-up comedian in the big city with a heart full of dreams and pockets empty of cash, there is the possibility of instantly winning the game.

Will this new edition draw me back to the game? I’m not sure. I do love the show, but the idea of a board game with a spinner as the main mechanic seems troublesome. What do you think?
