Today, Asmodee announced the release of Ticket to Ride: Stay at Home, a free print-and-play expansion for Ticket to Ride. This expansion includes a new board that follows the routes of four family members in a home. To play you will need a copy of Ticket to Ride base game and to print out and assemble the board and cards from the expansion.
Like the original game, you will be claiming routes by collecting sets of route cards. The expansion adds a new set of routes called “Family Routes” which can only be claimed 1 space a turn and net you 1 point. At the end of the game, if a family route is complete, each player who contributed to the route can use it to complete tickets.
Adrien Martinot, Head of home-based playtesting said, “As a board game publisher, we are really committed to helping people have fun while staying home. We started working on this project at the beginning of the lockdown, which gave me the opportunity to stay entertained as well thanks to the playtesting.”
