Penny Arcade Expo (PAX), the festival that celebrates gaming culture, has just announced that it will be bringing together PAX West and PAX Australia into one big online event called PAX Online.
PAX Online will be a digital space where fans can experience everything they love about attending the show in person. The online convention will have everything from hands-on demos, esports tournaments, game reveals, and an Indie Showcase bringing you some of the latest and greatest titles.
PAX has always been a community first, from the attendees, panelists, exhibitors, to the incredible Enforcers who keep PAX going all year,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder of PAX. “PAX Online brings that shared experience home, along with game reveals, exclusive hands-on experiences, the chance to hear from and speak with your favorite game developers, plus so much more. Even if we can’t all meet in Seattle or Melbourne this year, we look forward to reconnecting with our friends and welcoming everyone to our new home, PAX Online. Technically, you’re already there.
Fans will be to get their hands on coveted 2020 PAX Merchandise like the letterman jackets, hoodies, and pins. Pre-orders are available now on the official website while more exciting items will be available during the festival this fall.
Panel submissions are open to submit today and will close July 24th and any developers that would like to register for the PAX Online Indie Showcase can submit now until July 17th.
Pax online will run from Sept. 12 – 20. For more information on PAX Online, please visit the official website at online.paxsite.com.
