Linkin Park and CATAN Are Teaming Up for an Epic Live Game Night in Hamburg
If you happen to be a Linkin Park fan with a Linkin Park Underground membership and a taste for tabletop gaming, this one is for you.
On May 31 at 5:00 PM, Linkin Park and CATAN are hosting an exclusive Game Night event in Hamburg, Germany, built around a live session of CATAN – Connect, the massive multiplayer variant of the classic board game. The event will be hosted by Benjamin Teuber, Co-CEO of CATAN GmbH and the designer of CATAN – Connect, who will be running the session in person.
CATAN – Connect is designed specifically for large groups, letting everyone play simultaneously on the same shared island rather than taking turns. Multiple Connect game sets can be combined for rounds of any size, with common dice phases and simultaneous action keeping the energy up and the play moving fast. It’s a genuinely different experience from the classic game, and running it live with a room full of people sounds like a blast.
Attendance is free, but spots are limited and selection is randomized. To be eligible, you’ll need an active LPU (Linkin Park Underground) Passport Plus membership, both at the time you register and on the day of the event. Sign-ups happen through the LPU Portal’s Events page and close on Sunday, May 24 at 5:00 PM CEST. If selected, you’ll receive an event pass in the QR Code section of your portal and an email with further details on May 27.
Selected attendees may bring one guest. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, and all attendees will need to provide identification. Travel and accommodation are not included, and this is not a meet and greet event.
If you’re already an LPU member and Hamburg is in reach, it’s worth throwing your name in. CATAN – Connect with its designer, live, for free, is a hard combination to pass up.
