Oink Games Announces “Eggsposed,” a Social Deduction Game for Groups as Small as 3
Oink Games has announced its next release, Eggsposed, a hidden-identity, social deduction game arriving this Autumn! It’s built for the Werewolf crowd but designed to work with groups as small as three players, a range most games in the genre can’t touch.
Players split into two teams, the Bright Birds and the Night Birds. The Night Birds try to secretly slip their own eggs into the shared nest without getting caught, while the Bright Birds watch behavior, question statements, and check eggs to root out who’s lying. If three or more Night Bird eggs are sitting in the nest by the end of the game, the Night Birds win.
The twist that sets Eggsposed apart from other hidden-role games is that getting exposed isn’t a loss condition. Victory comes down to how many eggs are left in the nest, not whether your identity got blown, so players don’t even need to lie to play well. It’s a lighter entry point into deduction gameplay without losing the tension the genre is known for.
The production has some nice touches too: vibrant double-sided egg tiles with bird art on the back, dual-sided role cards with quick-reference summaries, and custom wooden feather markers.
Designed by Ali Mussel with artwork by Rie Takahashi, Eggsposed plays 3-8 players ages 9 and up, with games running about 20 minutes.
