The Trade Marketing Manager will support the sales team in Hobby and Toy & Gift channels through the execution of trade programs, merchandising, trade shows, sales tools, sales training and B2B communication, all with the goal of increasing sales revenue.
Participate in building the go-to-market strategy for the Hobby and Toy & Gift channels.
Effectively project manage all trade marketing program aspects, including sales promotions, display creation, and B2B communications.
Contribute in the execution of trade programs by working with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver below budget and on time.
Propose new trade programs that will enhance our reach and increase sales.
Fully understand products and product lines.
Maintain a close working relationship with company’s sales teams, ensuring both departments are aligned in their efforts, while assisting sales to achieve specific goals.
Develop reporting standards and KPI metrics to track and communicate performance (ROI, sales lift, POS analytics). Deliver quarterly updates on trade programs.
Work closely with graphic design, marketing managers, sales and production team for the development of all necessary trade tools: trade kits, displays, promo items, newsletters, solicitation forms, Facebook B2B page, other digital assets.
Coordinate creation and distribution of online assets necessary for brand pages, store fronts home page banners, upcoming and new product carrousels, seasonal offerings and other needs as they appear. Organize and deliver assets to necessary teams.
Maintain the Retailer Resource Portal, powered by Google Sites, by uploading retailer ready assets, trade offer material, and additional information.
Responsible for having an accurate understanding of YTD spend for trade activity they manage.
Lead product training for sales team and prepare all related material and product samples.
Work closely with graphic design team and production team by providing detailed briefs for the development of all necessary trade tools (trade program kits, newsletters, product sheets, other digital assets, displays).
Gather and curate insights to inform trade programs’ development and execution.
Update reports that measure performance of trade initiatives.
Create detailed specs and briefs for trade programs. Organize all relevant documentation on SharePoint.
Work directly with studio marketing managers in distribution team to share assets, completed materials and plans.
Manage timely execution of B2B advertising plans (print, online).
Attend a number of trade events and present trade programs at key industry events.
· Ensure your team’s and the Distribution team’s goals are met through effective teamwork.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
At least five (5) years of professional marketing experience.
Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
Some experience with image editing preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the board game industry.
Solid planning and coordination skills.
Enjoys a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and frequent high-peak times.

Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Trustworthy with highly confidential materials.
US travel required up to five weeks of the year (10% of time).
